The terms under which the cedar room is shared.
A short set of terms in plain Canadian English. The cedar-room page is a free social reel for adults - these terms set out the rest.
01. The site is for adults
CedarEdge is a free social reel page for adults aged 18 or over. By pressing “Yes, I am 18 or older” on the age overlay, you confirm that you meet that threshold. If you do not meet it, please close the tab.
02. No real money, no draw, no contest
Nothing on the cedar-room page is exchangeable for currency or any other form of value. There is no draw, no contest, no top prize. The point pool that refills on a winning line is a number drawn on the page and held in your browser tab.
03. Acceptable use
- The cedar-room engine is intended for personal entertainment. Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or wrap the engine for resale.
- Do not embed the cedar-room page inside another product without our written permission.
- Do not present the cedar room as a paid or paid-equivalent experience to any third party.
04. Intellectual property
The Pacific Cedar palette, the six cedar marks, the layout, and the cedar-room copy are the work of the four-person Vancouver workshop. They are released for personal viewing on the public web. Lifting them into another site requires written permission.
05. Disclaimers
The cedar-room page is provided as-is, in the spirit of a Thursday-evening object. We make no warranty about the availability of the site or the freshness of any link to a third-party help organisation. The orgs we link to are independent of CedarEdge and may change their own URLs without informing us; if you encounter a broken link, the get-in-touch page is the right place to send a note.
06. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia and the federal frameworks that govern us, CedarEdge has no liability for any indirect, consequential, or punitive loss arising from the use or inability to use the cedar-room page. The site does not transmit any real-money value, and there is no monetary loss we could reasonably be liable for.
07. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia. Any dispute is to be addressed first by a direct exchange with the workshop (the email address in the footer is the right one), and only thereafter through the BC small-claims process where appropriate.
